chdrv (1.0.13p-2) unstable; urgency=high

  * Security fixes:
     - Replaced system() with fork()/execl(), and dispensed with etmode
     - No longer read LOGINPROGRAM from config file
     - chdrv now is installed with the suid_root bit off by default.
       Users may configure this setting with the debconf interface.
    Many thanks Damian, Jochen and Julian for reporting these problems
    and suggesting fixes.  (Closes: Bug#138062)

  * Depends: chdrvfont (>= 1.0-5) for the same reason.
  * /bin/loadkeys may be called, so Depends: console-utilities

chdrv (1.0.13p-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Special thanks to Anthony Wong who cleaned up much of the package
    and uploaded the new 1.0.13-0.1 release, and to Ivo Timmermans
    for updating this package in 1.0.13-0.2 for Debian woody.
    Closes: Bug#91409.
  * Pristine upstream source tarball, hence the "p" in 1.0.13p-1.
  * Updated Platin's e-mail address in copyright and README.Debian.
    (That was his new e-mail address two years ago.  I wonder if it

  * Man page automatically moved from /usr/man to /usr/share/man

  * Continued on Anthony Wong's work, I have moved config, kcfont, gbfont,
    and ch_profile from /usr/lib/chinese to /etc/chdrv.  Other chdrv
    configuration files are also moved from /etc to /etc/chdrv.
  * Changed two system() calls so that instead of making
    /etc/chdrv/ch_profile or ~/.chrc executable, they are read using sh's
    "." command instead.
  * [/etc/chdrv/config]: chdrv now calls "login" instead of "telnet"
     to start a new session.
