The project is maintained by Frank Mori Hess, along with others who
have contributed code or documentation. It is a continuation of the
linux-gpib-2.05-alpha release available from the Linux Lab Project,
which was maintained by Claus Schroeter.

linux-gpib is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2,
found on Debian GNU/Linux systems in the file
/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-2

The linux-gpib documentation may be released either under the GNU Free
Documentation License with zero (0) Invariant Sections, or alternatively, 
under the GNU General Public License.  The GFDL license can be found, 
on Debian CNU/Linux systems in the file
/usr/share/common-licenses/GDFL
