  * New upstream release:
    + partially fixes FTBFS with gcc-4.3; cherry pick r411 from upstream's SVN
      for a complete fix. (Closes: #454872)

  * Drop usage of symbol files: I'm not interested in this pain for a C++
    library that only has one reverse dependency.

  * Move packaging to Git; update Vcs-* accordingly.

  * Removing config.{sub,guess} in clean makes git-buildpackage unhappy. Drop
    that, and instead patch the files to exec from /usr/share/misc, as hinted
    in autotools-dev's README.Debian file. (Thanks!, Romain Francoise)
