This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of the SPRNG (Scalable Parallel Random Number Generator) library. SPRNG version 1.0 was written by David Ceperley, Michael Mascagni, Lubos Mitas, Faisal Saied and Ashok Srinivasan at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. SPRNG 2.0 was written by Michael Mascagni and Chi-Ok Hwang. This package was created by Dirk Eddelbuettel , with ample help by Kai Hendry and elijah wright .
